I wish Johnny would let us know if it is going to have a proper ending. Networks generally let a show finish the season so long as its episodes are basically produced. That is not out of the ordinary. What is crucial, is whether or not the show has a real, satisfying conclusion.
shareGood point Dozhd,
According to what she said, she was watching the editing of the last episodes at Bad Robot studios.
Darn on no second season. I know quite a few people that normally watch the other Sunday shows, now interested in checking out Believe since their regular shows are finishing for the season. If NBC would have renewed it it might have built more of a following over the summer.
shareGood point Kavieregge. A "fresh" series during rerun season might actually draw more viewers
Is the real reason NBC cancelled Believe because they spent all their money on Crossbones? Crossbones looks like it has to be real expensive to produce on top of what they'd have to pay for John Malkovich.
shareIt was ratings.
HOWEVER, with NBC's track record lately, I don't expect Crossbones to last much longer, either.
