sharePetitions don't save shows. Ratings save shows. The ratings simply weren't there.
Even if petitions did work, writing a petition for two shows will not get people to sign unless they actually like both shows; that's not how the mind works. If someone dislikes Crisis, or just doesn't know what it is, they'll be less likely to sign, even if they love Believe.
I've signed the petition and e-mailed NBC, but I agree that the most important thing to stand a chance of changing NBC's mind will be the ratings of the final episodes. Last week was low. Let's hope tonight and finale are strong.
shareYeah, petitions don't work. Networks only care about ratings and how much they can charge per commercial advertisement based on the number of viewers in a particular demograpic.
People think "Family Guy" came back because of a petition, but it actually came back based on the massive ratings Cartoon Network's Adult Swim were getting on reruns.
Love the show. Wish it could have another season. But its a lost cause. They've already disbanded it.
