shareI had been holding out hope that if the last episodes did well plus the fan outcry, NBC would reverse the cancellation. But they've announced so many new shows for fall and summer it looks like the network is going to be subborn and not even consider it. But it's not over till it's over. Those who like the show can watch the final two episodes and who knows what will happen.
shareI wish they would give it another season as well. The show seems to be getting better and it's an interesting story line.
I don't see how they can cancel this and carry some of the other garbage shows, season after season.. anyways, just my two cents.

I completely agree and I really wish they would give this show more of a chance to get its footing before cancellation. My family was just starting to get into it too. Really disappointing :(
shareI'm very disappointed as well. I truly looked forward to it every week. so unhappy it is ending.

The problem is low nielsen ratings and none of you are nielsen viewers.
nielsen viewers determine what all of america get to watch and which show get canceled and which one stay on forever.
In case you dont know there are only about 50,000 homes monitored specific types of people whith specific incomes, and then they estimate hpw many people watch a show by the % of this group that watches each show.
So if 10,000 of these people watch a show that is 20% then they figure %20 of 250 million households watch the show which would be a big hit.
As a general rule it is only like 1-3 % a few thousand people that make or break a show.
So 10 million could be actually watching this show , but ratings estimate 4 mil
and the demo or age factor is .09 and needs to be 1.8 or higher.
they dont really know how many or what age is actually watching any show, it is all estimated!

Too bad neilsen does not care about the rest of the world too. We watch tv shows from USA too. I met Tatiana twice from Orphan Black at Fan Expo..
The major networks willingly participate in the current Nielsen system. The real problem is advertisers not paying for viewers that watch a show on their DVR more than 3 days after it airs and those additional viewers are almost meaningless to the major networks.
shareThis show is great. My mother and I are hooked since pilot. We are from the end of the world, the southest country in SouthAmerica, here "Believe" and "Almost Human" had a lot of fans. I don't know how it works the system in USA, but I really hope some other network pick the show and we can have a 2nd seasson and even more!
Is that possible?
I don't understand how the still run "Two and a Half Men", a dead-walking series, and they cancel good and new ones.
Please excuse my terrible redaction, english is not my native language.
Have/had someone still try to convince me there is a rating system, there is not, not for over 10 yrs. "They" with the ripped overflowing pockets decided this show was more family friendly and does not "bleed" enough to keep it. So tired of those same "they" making more $$$ on REALITY CRAP that they really dont care anymore about good real tv shows with real actors/actresses...wish all of us who cant stand the trash had enough to be able to "tell and make a stand" against the they with $$$ that really do "rule" over tv and are succeeding in dumb down tv that is turning most into drones, why else do some watch reality crap...
Well guess done, for now, ranting, seems bout all anyone with no $$$ can do is rant in today's world😦👎
