I really am going to miss this show. It needed some tweaking, but I enjoyed it and there were some good ideas that unfortunately can never be explored. I looked forward to it during my weekends.
As a Series Finale goes, I think its solid. Not every show needs a huge death to be satisfying.
Bo saved the life of what was supposed to be the villain, Bo and Milton had a good farewell, Skouras watches his legacy burn to the ground as police/government come to arrest him and Bo and Tate are finally at peace together to live a happy ending and the "Blue Butterfly" is Bo's mother to watch over them.
If I were running this show, it would be similar to The Hulk TV show. The "victim-of-the-week" format is stale but it can be spiced up by making the stories less "stock."
I'd have focused more on Bo's powers and had a secondary villain (like, Moore) driving home the tension of the hunt for capturing Bo with Skouras producing main villains to challenge the faith in Bo's powers.
This show could have been a huge success if it weren't tossed like a hot potato between Show-Runnners.
Me, too. I think it had a lot going for it, and really, just got better as the season went on. Tonight's episode, though, at least provided a fitting end. I wonder if it was re-shot at all after the cancellation was announced, or if this was how this season was always to end. I would assume that they at least re-shot the last scene or two to make things wrap up a little more nicely. Hope to see more of young Johnny --she's adorable & I thought I terrific young actress. I was watching both Resurrection & this, and initially glad to see Resurrection made the cut (& disappointed about Believe -- had hoped they'd both survive). To be honest, though, Resurrection got a little more far-fetched towards the end, and this got better. Maybe it's just because Resurrection ended a while ago & this has remained on & is fresher in my memory, but right now, of the 2, I'm going to miss this one more. I hope to see more of young Johnny -- I thought she was adorable, and, in my opinion, a good actress. And, I must admit,I love her dad's eyes! Well, it was an interesting and enjoyable 12 episodes.
Are you sure you like Johnny? Do you think she's a good actress who's adorable? LOL just kidding with you. (You happen to mention in twice in the same paragraph)
I was a little worried that Bo might be coming down with the disease. She had a small red sore on her hand just before her mother grabbed her hand and covered it up. Maybe I am just overreacting.
I missed that! I'll have to rewatch. I really suspected Bo would have the degrade by the end of the show, but I admit that would be a horrible ending since there's no season 2.
This show had a lot potential. I really enjoyed it. The premise was good. IMO, it needed a different angle. From a writers perspective, it was the same thing from week to week. The stories all paralleled from one week to the next. IMO, there was so many different ideas and ways that could have made it work. Unfortunately it didn't last long enough to retool and try new ideas. RIP Believe. May another network see such potential and give you a second chance.
I liked the premise and the person needing assistance each week. It reminded me of Touched by an Angel in a lot of ways.
A positive story of forgiveness, and second chances, and an uplifting and poignant drama. I think it's a premise we are lacking on TV right now, and I would gladly watch it over other tripe they pass off as entertainment, and would have loved for it to be continued.
I definitely wish this show could have lasted another season. I really liked it's concept. I think Johnny Sequoyah is a good young actress I hope she lands on another show. Hopefully a sitcom. Can't wait to see her in the few movies she is appearing in.

What kind of beast couldn't get along with a precious little girl like this?
Read the link in this topic about a campaign to get Disney onboard to save it. To get the execs attention, you organize a petition. You send it, give its own website "Save Believe", link it to every possible sight that you can, and those sites will link it to others. Furnish a list....a petition of names to send to the network. Disney, not NBC, don't screw with them. They ain't got the foresite to see it. You fill that petition w/ enough names, it will be an attention getter. Its worked before, more than once. But there must be a lot of names on such a petition for them to take a serious look at it as a viable idea to discuss. I forget, but the numbers were talking about are somewhere between 500k - 750k of names, for them to take it into great consideration. And a million names....well that speaks loudly. Its a lot, but its been done b4, and worked. It can work. Ya just have to "BELIEVE".
