What do you think? I think it will get nominated for best picture.
shareIt should (as well as a best director nom for Taika). Will it? I probably won’t be surprised if it gets shunned, but I think its chances are looking good right now. Either way, it most definitely deserves to. The film is nothing short of spectacular, and it’s far more unique, gripping and relevant than some of the current best picture front runners, e.g., the uninspiring Irishman (sorry not sorry!). Taika knocked it way out of the park.
Side note: lol at the edgelord reactionaries that think Taika was trying to appeal to them (and I’ve seen some complain that it wasn’t “un-pc” enough... typical reich wing nazis). Miss the point they of course did, but you know how these reactionaries that cry 24/7 about non-reactionary modern Hollywood every now and then desperately try to claim some films (that aren’t made by reactionaries) as their own. XD Anyway, fabulous film.
