This or THE GETAWAY (1972)?

Similar vibe and atmosphere in both movies, but the Peckinpah film has Steve McQueen, better action, a more propulsive story and of course a script by Walter Hill.

So I vote for THE GETAWAY.

The Getaway is my favorite Steve McQueen movie. Seen it about 100 times. I doubt I'll watch this movie that many times, although, I did enjoy it a lot.

I love THE GETAWAY too. An almost perfect crime movie.

Is it my all-time favorite McQueen movie? Hard to say. It might be tied with THE GREAT ESCAPE for that honor.

Ofcourse "The Gateway" no one can beat the classic but I like this movie too.
