U.S. Soldiers?

I am o.k. with British actors playing American roles from time to time. However, casting all Brits to play American soldiers? Just seems odd.

Who cares as long as they can portray the roles well.

Not really Americans dont want to go the extra miles and the american Prodcuation company doesnt have to pay as much for brits

Ever seen Black Hawk Down. That movie is full of brits playing yanks. There's an aussie and even a danish guy as well. No one critisized that movie for hiring non-americans.

Do not confuse the nationality of the actors with the nationality of the character in a film. Some confuse the character of the novel with the writer. It is also a common mistake.
