Se2 Ep3 - lots of loose ends (Spoilers!)

So Im new to Hinterland (HL) and watching from the start.

I've followed it pretty well but Se2 Ep3 - daniel protheroe (DP) and beynon - has me confused.

All that seems to happen is after 90 minutes right at the end Branwen's dad is stoped from killing DP.

But there is no closure/explanation/identification of

1) who killed Beynon the lawyer
2) how did DP disappear aged 3
3) how mum #2 ended up with DP and nothing seemed "strange" to authorities etc that she now had a son
4) how mum#2 died and why she was rotting in a bed [ this was sort of covered as DP loved her so much he just dressed her and left her there. very Norman bates . I think.]

It could be some much later episode clears it all up and if that's the case just telling me that will do :-)

Or I could have somehow just missed all the above explanations :-)

SPOILERS !!!!

1. Killed by the housekeeper’s son , Lewis.
2. He was kidnapped from the beach by Nora , DP’ s mother who was the mother dead ala Norman Bates’ mother Mrs Bates. Nora’ s baby son died and that was the child in the grave . She was probably so distraught and kooky, that she kidnapped a child “Aled” from the beach and raised him as her own.
3. Mum # 2 was a loner , a recluse so nobody knew anything.
4 . She had a history of epilepsy and that’s why she died. Nobody killed her. “Daniel” really couldn’t bear to live without the only person who ever loved him.
