Depp takes classics and makes them creepy

I don't know what his emotional problem is but he keeps playing it out over and over throughout his movies and the characters are always creepy. Why he think his characters are better with 2 inches of makeup globbed onto his face is another mystery.

This positively infantile preoccupation with bosoms!Terry-Thomas about US 1963.Hasnt changed much!

1. His millions of fans, his directors, and producers like the way he works his craft. That would be why he keeps being hired to star in these movies.
2. Please tell me you're not serious about thinking that Johnny Depp chooses what makeup is put on him?
3. I can understand someone not appreciating his work, but as a troll, these are lame arguments. Please try harder.

Depp ran his course-after Lone Ranger and now this he will have difficulty playing anything in a big budget movie that doesn't involve pirates...

Millions of fans, heh. Used to have. BOMB!

You're welcome.

Thats just, like, your opinion or something.

Except in this case there was no Classic.

Character maybe, but no story I ever read.

Ephemeron.

Not sure how to take this question except to say that Depp only controls how the character is played, the daddy issues of this as well as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory are things he is made to play, usually at the behest of Tim Burton who basically made his career what it is so of course he's on the hook for more. I wish these two would go back to doing better films though.

If ignorance is bliss you must be the happiest person in the world. Ecstatically happy.

i actually preferred Martin Short's Hatter over Depp.

Short even has the facial features similar to the book's illustration. He was good.
