Ouch. Not a bad movie but ......

wow, first one breaks 1.5 billion, this one is struggling to make 1/2 it's budget back.

It's not that bad of a movie, I guess it's because partially everyone is a little sick of Johnny Depp, which isn't really fair considering he is what he is and you know what to expect, but b: because "Through the Looking Glass" is WAY less popular of a story than Alice in Wonderland. (and honestly is the better book)

All in all, I didn't expect this to be close to the 1st one but i didn't expect it to bomb this badly. It's not a bad movie, the 6.7 is pretty close to what it is IE above average.

It's not Johnny Depp's fault this is having problems. Some of the problem is the storyline could have been stronger and another thing is I don't believe Mia is a leading lady, she's not terrible but she's a bit bland. The film comes alive when Johnny/Hatter appears but I wouldn't say he's in the film that much.

That may be, but this film had nothing to do with the original book. In the credits, the writing is noted as by Linda Woolverton, followed by a "based on characters by Lewis Carroll" line (whereas here on IMDb the credit is given as Linda Woolverton AND Lewis Carroll).

They have simply taken famous literary characters and created their own story. (Which is what Guy Ritchie did with the Sherlock Holmes movies.)

Anyone going to see the movie because they loved "Through the Looking Glass and What Alive Found There" might be disappointed.

Actually, it has more to do with the book than the first one did.

I love you, Kristen Stewart. :) You are so beautiful and talented. I would love to perform with you.
