So I was watching this with a kid, as it's rated PG and everything was going great ...till the end credits rolled. Pink's lyrics are
Just like fire, burning out the way If I can light the world up for just one day Watch this madness, colorful charade
but unfortunately they sound like,
Just like fire, burning out the way F----ing light the world up for just one day Watch this madness, colorful charade
Ugh. Only yesterday when a youtube video had the F word, I stopped watching it and turned to my kid and was lamenting how things have changed, and that the first time I had heard the F word was when I was 12.

So you dislike the song just because of a word, that's not even the actual word?
No, I like the song; I quite like Pink, actually. That's not the point here.
My point was that in a PG rated movie , all of the content needs to be appropriate for young viewers. And yes, that also includes lyrics that might say one thing but sound like another.
For example, if Crimson Cup were making an advert would they ever use that Taylor Swift song that people keep thinking says "Starbucks lovers"? No, they wouldn't because they're competitors in the world of coffee. The same principle applies here. Even if it is a misheard lyric - it's still there for the kids to hear. The words dont sound like "If I can".

You're getting upset over a lyric that could be misinterpreted, but not by a child, and the fact that the lyric IS what it is, makes this post even more ridiculous. Grow up you pathetic woman. (I'm assuming you're a woman, because lets be honest, only a woman could find something like this to complain about.

The lyric is what is sounds like when you hear it at the end of the movie; kids arent actually looking at subtitles or anything. (Next you'll be saying that Gaga's Poker Face song's chorus doesnt include the words "f-ck her face", just because the lyrics are written as "poker face".) If you go to the official vid on youtube and read the comments you'll see other people heard the same thing that I did with Pink's song.

Right, by all means, make dismissive comments about women - why on earth would I expect you to be considerate about children's needs?
Let me put it another way: I am a consumer of Disney products, I checked the rating of the movie, and I paid for my family's tickets and so, if the product doesnt match the rating I can complain all I want about the ratings board and Disney. You can debate the validity of my complaint, of course, but if you're gonna call me names then you're not really the sort of person who would understand a sensitive matter like this.
I dont have anything against these songs - I just dont want the really bad swear words or words that sound like bad swear words to be in kiddie films. There's a joke in Penguins of Madagascar where a seal says he cant do flipping anything with his flippers - that I find adorable; psuedo F words, not so much.

Well you know, our brains use to keep tricking on us; your kids would only interpret this sound that way if the misheared word in question was already established deeply enough in their lemmatic memory (which I don't know if that's the case. But assuming you're American and considering the heavy usage of this word in question in AE that might well be). -If not their brains would interpret it with something else they think can compare closely enough. For example a person COULD mishear "carry on" with "carrion" IF the person in question knew the this word and it's meaning; if not this person's brain would never make that connection.
With each day the number of people on my Ignore list is growing.

Yes protect your children from everything in the real world so that once they're older they have no idea what's going on. Wrap them in bubble wrap, put earmuffs and blinders on them and then lock them in a room full of participation trophies and tell them that everything is just sunshine and rainbows. Holy crapstick it wasn't even the word. YOU midheard the lyrics, get over it.
Honestly I really do not appreciate foul language like f-bombs either and would seriously much rather not have my kids (if I had any) listening to stuff like that. I can totally relate to you on that account. However I think you are overreacting a bit here. There was nothing inappropriate in the song, you only misheard it. And if your kid innocently sings something that sounds inappropriate, you can correct them with the proper lyrics.
