...more than Jungle Book. :/
People praise Jungle Book a lot, but that was just an OK movie to me.
In Looking Glass, I felt the story's message was told better and was on the same wave as the first Alice movie. There was something about Jungle Book that felt off a little.
JB felt like a movie I could only see once and never again.
Just saw it too. I absolutely LOVED it. So much more than the first film. And yes. The Jungle Book was amazing, but this was so much more enjoyable.
Id definitely watch this again.
Totally feel the same way! I really liked the Jungle Book but this movie was waaaaaay more exciting and the messages were very powerful.

shareI regret not watching it while I had the chance, my sister insisted that we watch Jungle Book instead of that Marvel CGI snorefest Civil Bore. I watched Looking Glass last night it was truly wonderful, I loved the take on time as a person and not just some imaginary entity. Beautiful movie.
Is Jungle Book musical? Then I'll give it a pass.

Yeah, same here. I enjoyed The Jungle Book but ehh..I don't really care to see it again.
I agree with everyone on this page, I really enjoyed the movie, it was better than the first. I really liked all the characters, especially Time, he really surprised me.
shareI haven't watched Alice Through The Looking Glass, but I know the movie would be exciting just by looking at the trailers. I watched Jungle Book in a theater a few months back and I prayed that the movie would end up very soon. Thankfully, I redeemed the ticket from the points collected through my special cinema card. I couldn't stand the notion and concept of the movie, the high rating was probably due to the literal almost perfect images.
shareI wouldn't disagree with you. Jungle Book was a lot of harmless, well made fun that didn't reach far, and didn't stand particularly tall. This film might not have been perfect, but there was far more of interest going on in it than there was in Favreau's movie, and it was better than its predecessor too, which was nice to see.

I liked Jungle Book more, but then the Animated Jungle Book is among my favorite Disney Classics.
That said, I did like this Alice more than the previous one. A lot more.
