it actually hasn't been in "production hell" at all.
Was filmed in May/June 2013
Two days of additional photography was just shot last weekend.
Movie is pretty much cut together now. It may have a release as early as April or May, about a year after filming finished, which is very normal.
Does it have an official website, Facebook page, etc.?
I was an extra in a movie called The Merchant that was shot in Gilmer, Tx - a Horror/Western. That was shot in 2011 and still has not come out on video. The Facebook page says it showed at festivals in 2013.
I know how you feel, the Poltergeist remake isn't released until the end of July 2015 and it finished filming the beginning of December 2013!
