Question (Spoiler Alert)

How did Corey manage to fake his own death? He had a funeral, right? I'm confused!

reply

They found someone who looked like him. He wasn't really killed, Jami didn't actually see it since she was turned around.

They mentioned leaving a couple of his teeth at the scene for identification purposes and I believe saying they cut all the teeth out of the stand-in body, but still..

This supposedly took place recently soooo... a whole body can provide DNA which would render a couple teeth lying willy nilly next to the body rather moot.

It was one of the many obvious points in horror movies where suspension of disbelief is required.

The movie was pretty bland, yet I enjoyed it. Figure THAT one out.

How do people miss this kind of stuff if they are paying the least bit of attention. I fear for our country.

^^made me laugh^^

I didn't miss that bit in this movie but there are many B-movies that I watch while working or cooking or whatever. I assume from the beginning that the caliber is not worth my full attention. (This was one of those.) I doubt it's someone sitting in front of the screen/tube for an hour and a half, watching intently and missing plot points.

Lots of people "miss" things in a movie for any number of reasons. That's why it's great to have a board to help figure it out. Not everyone is as perfect as you!

I fear for whoever has to put up with you on a daily basis.

A better question is how was he able to grow his hair six inches longer by the end of the film than it was at the beginning.

I also found it hard to believe that a substitute body could be identified as Corey, with today's forensic science, especially in a murder case.

reply

The movie begins in Halloween and ends months later.
