this is the worst idea i've ever heard.
the texarkana phantom has had a resurgence of popularity recently. there is a play based on the case,the original "town" is on dvd and shown on tcm underground a couple times a year,a fictional book about the case came out last year,and a long overdue non fiction book is coming out. sounds like it's time to make a new film about the case(fictionalized or not)...right? but instead we're getting a very cheap gimmick that might make a few bucks on opening weekend if it even gets made. to quote lt. dan from "forrest gump": "well that's...that's just PERFECT!"
