Does anyone know where she fits in all of this? How long has she been friends with these people? I know Cara is supposed to be the "casted" new girl but to me Katie fits that role. She's never done any of the things that these guys have been doing for years like camping and mudding. And she doesn't ever like/enjoy those things either.
shareI am wondering that, too. She tells her mother that she only met Taylor a few months ago though she does seem to know some of the girls better, but not all of them. I vaguely remember that some of the girls work together, maybe that is how she knows them.
I know there has been a lot of accusations about events being staged (I am sure they are true, there are certain scenes that are clearly being very poorly acted) I personally don't care. The show is entertaining to me and I actually like knowing a lot of what happens is actually a producer's suggestion because when I roll my eyes and think "God, who would really do that?" I remember "right, chances are no one, they scripted it." BUT I wish they were a little better keeping their stories straight. They presented it as life long friends and Cara was a new friend to the group. Either tell the truth about who knows who or keep the lying more consistent.
On the first episode I believe Katie's caption read "Cara's friend". Since Cara is the new girl and Katie was Cara's friend, then Katie wouldn't know the others very well either.
shareTyler is new too. Joey has mentioned it at least twice that he was knew to the group. Thats why Katie wouldnt have known him.

shareYay, thanks guys! I definitely got the feeling Tyler was new as well so thanks for that. I actually have been around people like this, I spent summers at my grandparents house in a super small rural town in Montana-the people are seriously just like this, and there was never new people or people who were friends of a friend. Everyone knew everyone and their families. That's why some of this stuff has seemed weird to me and I suspected more casted people than just those who were announced as casted. All the girls and all the guys in the MT town had done all the same things and liked all the same things. Anyways thanks again for helping me keep this hot mess straightened out!
