shareThat is interesting though. Whereas shows like "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Friends" were the biggest things in the world two years after their premieres. Of course there are many factors that play a role. Quality of the series, different eras, different networks, just to name a few. But yeah, this show should have been "That's So Raven" or "Hannah Montana" status with everything it had going for it.

shareIts crazy though, seeing how EVERY media outlet was promoting this show. Even Entertainment Weekly - a first for a Disney Channel show. Disney tried their hardest to make this their flagship series. It still kinda is, but it lost its initial appeal. I hope for the show's sake, it gets picked up by Freeform and they do a major revamp. Look at Full House (the original). It didn't find its footing until around season 3 and from that point on it was a hit. The same can happen for GMW.

shareWell, it's not too late for them to be renewed for season four. Everyone is overreacting a bit, there's still time. It hasn't been officially cancelled.
However, in the grand scheme of things your post still stands because it won't go beyond season four. But that's just because Disney have some weird thing about not running shows like this beyond four seasons, which is a damn shame since Jacobs is good at the long game/slowly developing plots :(
