...and is a vital (if not the most essential) part of this show, I'm not seeing how that bodes well for a season 4 renewal. They tend to start shooting around February/March, correct? She's going on tour in May. Is she leaving the show (in which case they really need to end it because she is clearly the most popular and beloved member of the cast)? I mean, all signs are pointing to it being a wrap for "GMW", and the show is on its last legs as it is.

or the show is shooting later in the year to accommodate her tour - they would do the same thing for Miley and her tours during the Hanna Montana years.

Sitcoms do not need much time to spin up production - this could also be the factor for a late (very late) renewal.

Would be impossible to do that with season 3 ending in January.

Nothing says they can't renew the show and hold new episodes till fall of 2017 for instance, shooting in the summer.

As long as the cast and crew have not been released from contract (and no sign they have) Disney has time to play with.

At that point, the show will have been on hiatus for like 9 months or more. It's possible I suppose but seems unlikely.
