So... Can We Get A 'Smarkle' Spin-off Now?

As long as folks are just throwing out ideas to see what sticks, how about a show centered around Farkle, Smackle, and a new cadre of academic peers? It could be like The Big Bang Theory for kids.

They already have analogs for Sheldon and Amy. Disney could shift Karan Brar and Peyton List over from Bunk'd (they could even use the same characters!) to fill the Raj and Penny roles.

Perhaps background-extra Sarah could be put into the Bernadette spot (hey, they both wear glasses, and they can both yell loud).

Co-opt Joey Bragg from Liv and Maddie to fill in for Leonard, Jimmy Bellinger for Howard, and J.J. Totah for Stuart (he's already played a character by the same name on Jessie!).

It could be like Freaks and Geeks, only without the edge. Quick! Somebody get me Michael Jacobs on the phone, stat! 😃

Odd comparison. I was just thinking how Smackle seemed like if Sheldon and Amy had a daughter.

I think that's something that everyone who has watched both shows has thought. 😃

If The Big Bang Theory ever does a 'flash forward' type of scene where they speculate what Amy and Sheldon's kid would be like, they should use Cecilia Balagot playing an unofficial version of Smackle. It's just too good not to use.

Farkle grew out of weirdness so I don't see him as a good Sheldon character. He's more like the guy is dating Penny now but even cooler than him.

Not a bad idea overall.

No. They set the stage for a lot of change on "..Sweet Sixteen" (and said look at the landmarks from the past)- one thing in particular that friends mean more to you than romance. Remember meeting Smackle in Season 1 ? Farkle's point that they are the same, not opposites and opposites attract, while same repels ? The competition between them would wind up destroying everything. Now that he knows how to approach a girl, he'll go after the one he really wants. And while Farkle has liked someone else from the very beginning, Smackle and Zay have shown us real connection. (Zay is the only one who's used the word "love" in relation to Smackle - and who spent a lot time playing with her while she "rebooted" in the bakery?
