Typical Hollywood insidious social engineering propaganda masquerading as Sci-Fi as a result of empty headed millenials feeding on anything that whiffs of science fiction even if the plot and writing is totally and typically mediocre at best and garbage in reality - when will this political nonsensical subterfuge stop?

The short story the movie was based on ("Story of Your Life") was one of the most intellectually brilliant pieces of sci-fi I've ever read. Granted, you might suggest that I've only been reading dumb stuff, but this story did win the 2000 Nebula Award for Best Novella and the 1999 Sturgeon Award, plus was nominated for a Hugo Award, all of which are some of the most prestigious awards in the science fiction world.
