Why does the theme in the beginning and end sound so familiar?

I know I have heard that theme somewhere else..but CANT think of it. Can someone help me out??!!

Yup, I recognized it too. It is music I have heard in another movie, I just can't remember what the movie is.

If you go to Youtube and put in "The Swimmer Max Richter" the first thing that pops up is a movie called Disconnect, which was a film that centered on communication same as this one does.

It's "On The Nature Of Daylight" written by Max Richter

I knew it was Richter! It had the same feel as The Leftovers.
