Did anyone here ever see a film called Disconnect

It had the same basic message of this film which is that we really don't communicate like we used to, so eager to just rush to a violent end It also struck me as somewhat odd though that if you type in Max Richter The Swimmer into the Youtube search engine you will hear the exact same violin solo that bookends this film. I say it's odd because The Swimmer is also part of the Disconnect soundtrack. I actually did not care for this film too much, it felt like a hodge podge of ideas to me that never really gets it's questions out there or inspires much in terms of debate. The comparisons to Contact seem somewhat overblown. I'm curious to hear what anyone has to say, about all three films actually.

Trying to create a funny, engaging YouTube channel. If you guys check it out, hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance.

I heard Disconnect mentioned by someone in a discussion about Charlie Brooker's series Black Mirror (now on Netflix). Apparently it has the same futurist humanistic edge in terms of where things are headed? I really want to see it (Disconnect, that is).

I put some thoughts together about Arrival here - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2543164/board/nest/262911947.

Generally, there seem to be some huge polarities, even among the fans, as to certain things. For example, whether Louise is able to change her future based on the visions, or whether she's completely determined along a set path (i.e. no ability to change what's going to happen). There are plenty of fans who don't seem to understand it, but will vehemently defend it anyway, and then the fans who seem to understand it more than others who will tell you that you're a degenerate scumbag for not understanding the physics and philosophies of time and free-will and/or wanting to hump the film's leg.

I don't think there is sufficient evidence on screen to concrete either way whether the future was changed. That debate will rage on forever until some unseen directors commentary comes out.
