I was suspicious when I noticed Meadows brought back "Harvey" as one of the "gang" in the 86' series, but that turned out extremely well. This can't be a good thing though and hopefully it's just a glorified cameo....
Love how each episode is going to be set in a different season of the year and I trust Meadows with the ending. But *beep* that character...

I disagree, especially after watching that short. But my problem really isn't with the actor and let's be real here.....his character in 88' was completely absurd.

I met Perry a few years ago when I saw him in a show in manchester . We had a chat in the bar afterwards.I asked for his autograph and he bought me a drink
He kept winking at me too lol. We talked about the show and This Is England and Dirty Egg. He asked me where I had been sat during the show and asked if i was staying in Manchester that night.
I think Perry is a great actor.He was hilarious in This Is England 86 and Dirty Egg. I hope he will be in a lot of this series. I wonder why he wasn't in This Is England 88?.

There would have been no way to fit him in to 88 without it feeling shoehorned.
As for the OP re Flip. I thought he was funny in 86 in small bursts, but he borders a little too much on cartoonish at times in this so far.
