Abandoned Scooter Shop Plot?

Reading the descriptions for TIE 90 there are references to Woody and Milky opening a scooter shop together, both on here and Wikipedia. I definitely think I've paid enough attention to know that Woody is a stay-at-home dad as of 1990. Anyone know if this idea is scrapped or something we can look forward to in Autumn/Winter episodes?

Good question. I forgot that was the original synopsis. Going by what looks to be coming up, I can't see Woody and Milky being friendly enough to be starting that up together. My guess would be that it was part of the original outline for the series before they scrapped it in order to take a different path, but we'll see.

I thought they might have talked about it last episode with Woody needing a job but not wanting to go back to working with Mr Squires, but it was not to be.

Doubt it's been abandoned. Each episode is set in a different season of the year and we still don't know how much longer Combo has left in prison.

My guess is that we'll see Woody and Combo working together on it in episode 3, followed by Combo's release interfering with their relationship. Especially with Woody allowing Combo to move in with Lol and Milk's kid.....

You could be my favorite faded fantasy...

As of todays ep, it must have been scrapped.. there's no way the final episode will chuck that in with the black path the show is taking.. Just don't see it

And the whole rave scene thing has also been abandoned (unless you count a local disco and a new age travelers site party as 'the rave scene').. which is a shame. I personally am still loving it though.

Shane Meadows wanted it to reflect his own rave days which he put as overall being 'a bit sh!t'.

The pagan festival is something that really happened to Shane when he was looking for a rave with some friends.
