Dead Man's Shoes Is Still Meadows Best Work

Just watched this the other day to get me in the mood for the finale.

I do enjoy This Is England, but Dead Man's Shoes is Meadows One true great piece of work in my opinion, such an edgy ,odd movie, without any "fat", which I think TIE has lots of.

I would like to have seen him do more dark twisted thrillers like DMS.

Funny, I watched DMS earlier today, to get me in the mood for the finale too lol.
Great film!
I do prefer TIE though.

It is a fine film indeed, but it comes second for me. This is England (the movie) is my favourite of his.
