I thought he was supposed to have died of a heart attack or something like that but he is very much alive after his non talking appearance at Lols & woodys wedding!

Yeah one of the producers said on Twitter that he died having another dump sometime between 86 & 88 but he appeared in the finale at lols wedding maybe as this was a send off maybe he was there in spirit as he was not sitting next to banjo ?

Oh yeah I remember seeing that now,shame he wasn't in the last 2 series the reason why we will probably never be told. Strange how he was at the wedding after not been seen since 86.
