I believe it is his mixed race father.

What??? Hold the phone...Combo's father is mixed raced? :-l That's got to be fanfic as Combo clearly looks like la white man to me. A can imagine that it might have been an old friend of Combo like before he became a skinhead, but it's most certainly not a daddy. Besides, the dude in the picture doesn't even look mixed raced, he looks like a full black man.
My strength is greater than my weakness
Well, I can't confirm that the man in the pic is his father.
But if you read the character bio in the link I sent you, it pretty much confirms his father is mixed race. (Stephen Graham's father is actually mixed race in real life..)
If you think about it, it would explain why he said the following lines from the scene at the end of the film:
Combo: What do you think makes a bad dad?
Milky: I dunno, what do you think?
Combo: Nig*as...
So, again I can't say for sure that it was his father in the pic, but it definitely makes sense to me when I look at the bigger picture.
Ok now you've just made my head explode...you are saying that both Combo the character and Stephen Graham have mixed raced dads???????????????????????????????????????? Don't make sense, Graham doesn't look black at all. Lets see a picture of his dad then if you are telling the truth???
The part about Combo saying the n word was just due to jealousy, had nothing to do with his dad being mixed raced or whatever. The picture was of his friend from back in the day.
My strength is greater than my weakness
You seem to be a little naive, my friend lol.
First of all, why would I make it up?
Secondly, if a mixed race man has a baby with a white woman, it is highly likely the baby will be white.
If you don't believe Stephan Graham is mixed race then read this;

If you don't believe his character's father is mixed race, then it seems you still haven't read the other link I sent you lol.
I'll send it again....

Again, this would explain the answer to Combo's question in the film
(What do you think makes a bad dad?)
And explains who the man in the picture is.
Think about it, buddy.
"I've experienced racism – that was why it was great to play Combo, to be on the opposite side of the fence. When I told Shane [Meadows] I was mixed race I thought I wouldn't get the part but he said: this is brilliant, it will make it more interesting"

Yes it is his dad Jesus I thought everyone knew this by now
shareWhoa..maybe you guys are right...i'm sorry I doubted you BeOneOfUs....I thought you were having a laugh...
My strength is greater than my weakness
lol I forgive you!
shareI thought Combo was obvious black/mixed race in the film? (Which the actor is). Can't believe anyone would see him and think otherwise???
This confused the hell out of me as he appears to be in some kind of white supremacy group from the film!
I suppose we're supposed to think no-one else in the film/show sees this?
Can't believe anyone would see him and think otherwise???
It's true mate I've known it for years. Stephen Graham is part Jamaican; he has a Jamaican grandmother.
sharePeople can look 'white' even if their genes are mixed with other races. I met a Korean lady recently who had red haired blue eyed children recently with a caucasian man; it was like they didn't get any of her genes at all.
Even more confusingly, two apparently 'white' people can have a baby who appears black if one or both has a small amount of black ancestry (that they may not even know about), and vice versa for a white baby from black parents. Genetics is not as simple as mixing paint colours together.
Many celebrities in the U.S. who you think of as 'black' have some Caucasian ancestry; Barack Obama and Halle Berry are both half Caucasian for example. There used to be a racist "one drop" law in the U.S. where people with any amount of African ancestry would be denied certain rights. For some reason many people still perpetuate that thinking today.
Stephen Graham is actually mixed race
