Love for Combo

Am i the only one who felt empathy/pity for Combo right from the start. In the movie hes a violent lunatic. But at the same times hes extremly vulnerable and he just seems so lost. What he did towards milky was despicable, but atleast it was a done in a fit of rage (perhsps partly due to psychosis/mental illness) and he regretted it immediatly afterwards.

The irony with Combo is that even though hes the most violent/dangerous TIE character (after Mick obviously), hes aldo the bravest and most "heroic" character.

Half of the reason why his death was so upsetting to watch was because his first day in the community center. You could see how he was determined to help his fellow mann and atone for everything hes done. He could have helped alot of kids and fellow ex-convicts who experienced the same problems as him.

The fact that i can feel this strongly for a character like Combo is a testament to Grahams amazing acting.

Agreed. That's why his death was so devastating and shocking. After everything he'd done to redeem himself, particularly taking the rap for Lol, to have it end like that. Guess that's real life sometimes, it's not a fairy tale or Hollywood movie and it's certainly not fair. Better acting and writing than anything Hollywood have produced. Bravo Mr Meadows. I keep everything crossed for more.

 It's indie rock and roll for me 

I see why they ended his story on a negative note. With a series like TIE it would be sort of odd if all the characters had happy endings and everything was lovely.

The opposite really. I thought he got what his actions and choices deserved.
