Did Richard E Grant overegg how amazing this film was?

I haven't seen the movie but I haven't been able to stop rewatching Richard E Grant's reaction to seeing it:-

He's excited because he got a paycheck out of it.

He had the privilege of going to a "1st cast screening" which should explain his enthusiasm.

Maybe he was just horny from thinking about himself. Notice how we don't see what his hands are doing.

Also, the film he saw was before all the re-shoots.
