The same way Luke and Kylo did. Apparently too much exertion using The Force now kills people. This contradicts Obi-wan who said it gives the Jedi their power and Yoda empowered with it while fighting Dooku.

That scene was kind of confusing, but like you said, I guess if the Force gets drained from you then you die.

I don't understand why so many people who have hated these Disney Star Wars movies are paying to see this. That's like willingly eating a turd sandwich and still cutting the restaurant a check.
