Inexcusable for the film to be this bad

One of the most important films in recent years. Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of names working on it. You are with the big studio in the history of filmmaking, making it one of their biggest, if not their number one biggest, project in recent years. And what happens? It’s a total train wreck due to their own incompetence.

What were they thinking?? Having Palpatine just somehow be around for 40+ years chillin on some forbidden planet. It would’ve been much smarter if Kylo somehow resurrected him with his sith powers or if Palpatine were actually just a force ghost or something. And when did he have a son? Sometime before Episode 3? Or sometime after 6?

Don’t even get me started on the plot. The pacing felt like they crammed three films into one. It’s probably the worst editing I’ve seen in a major blockbuster and a very long time. I’ll admit the last act of the film gets a lot better when in terms of pacing, but that’s when all the Emperor Palpatine stuff comes in and it gets bad for a completely different reason .
