"They fly now?! They fly now?! . . . They fly now."
if this is typical dialogue in a typical scene, "I've got a . . . "

shareIt's very reminiscent of dialogue from the original trilogy.
shareCan you provide an example?
shareHan & Luke in Jabba's Palace
Han & Luke on the Falcon as the flee the first Death Star (and Han realizes that Luke has a crush on Leia)
Han & Chewie working on the Falcon on Hoth
Han & 3PO (well, Han and 3PO in just about any conversation) on Hoth when they realize Luke is missing
Han & 3PO on Endor when the captives arrive at the Ewok camp.
I've often felt the dialogue written for Poe was an attempt to make his character very Han-like. One thing I felt was missing from the prequels was a Han-type character. His humor was a big part of the Original Trilogy, and I definitely missed it.
Weird Al should remake "Pretty Fly for a Jedi"
shareSo so sad. Thoughts and prayers.
