shareI agree. I liked the originals and the prequels as a kid
I still think the originals are decent now that I'm an adult, but will rarely watch them. The movies themselves are not really anything incredible
Most people who are very fond of SW are fond of them, not because of the movies, but because of the many many toys, video games, maybe comic books or novels, etc. It is not so much a movie franchise as it is a multimedia franchise, and the other parts make us look at the movies with rose-tinted glasses
