I don't think it is needed and it would be Shoehorning it in plus it would go what Rian Johnson Established Abrams & Terrio has too followed what he set up one of the reasons Why I liked TLJ was Rian Johnson subverted it and NOW Abrams and Terrio Plus Finn is too Enamored by Rey and it was Established I don't think this will be romance heavy at all

I like the idea of Rey and Finn much more than Rey and that Severus Snape wannabe.

Rey needs someone to ground her. Finn needs someone to love. They both need to figure out what those mystery bits on their bodies are for.
