I just want to get it over with. And, I wish that it had never been started again.

reply

It's not going to be over with. This movie is going to have no real ending since they want people to return for future sequels. Ep 9 will be a springboard for them.

reply

You're not helping. :-)

I make fun of Disney SW and will no longer pay to see them. Only Lucas SW exist for me. Heirs of the Empire book was an enjoyable ep. 7.

reply

I've read Zahn's book, and I am reading the comic adaptation now. Easily better than what Abrams/Disney did!

reply

So true. I'm taking my time with the books. I'm hoping by the time I finish reading what presently exist, SW is owned by someone who cares and they resume the EU.

reply

It will always baffle me why they didn't just adapt Zahn's trilogy. I read it when it first came out, and it would have made an awesome sequel trilogy.

Lucas said that the technology didn't exist for him to do the type of movies he wanted. CGI did. He probably wanted complete creative control over character direction, too.

Exactly. Especially with Jar Jar Abrams back involved I long predicted that they wouldn't bother trying to tie everything together for a satisfying conclusion (as if that would even be possible) as much as use it to hype future crappy sequels and spin offs.

reply

You wouldn't know you didn't want it started if you hadn't seen them. Paradox.

reply

We deserved MUCH better filmmakers than we got on this. Especially with all the highly-talented science-fiction writers out there, having Abrams and Johnson as the primary writers is bewildering, to say the least.

reply

it 's not over yet. they have a lot of star wars stuff after EP 9.
