Explains why the biggest TLJ haters are the people who deluded themselves into giving TFA a pass despite being a steaming pile of hot recycled garbage.

A character whose background had potential on paper which was squandered by Jar Jar & friends in order for him to serve the purpose of being a transparent red herring lead protagonist/jedi character wherein he simply ended up being the terrible and completely unnecessary bumbling janitor sidekick that you have described.

I agree, I severely disliked TFA, and I HATED TLJ. I am curious to see how JarJar Abrams will dig himself out of the hole that Ruin Johnson put him in, but I am prepared to DESPISE TROS.

I agree TFA was a bland, lifeless rehash of ANH just with all the fun sucked out of it. TLJ while not a rehash of ESB was a complete slap in the face to anyone considered a Star Wars fan.
