"Always two, there are. No more, no less."

Since Snoke is dead, who is the other Sith?

reply

JJ Abrams.

reply

The same thing would've happened if Darth Sidious had let himself be killed in such a stupid manner. But luckily, he was 1000x smarter than Snoke.

reply

Snoke wasn't a Sith. Knights of Ren is supposed to be different.

reply

Yeah, the knights of Ren which don't appear to actually exist.

Christ, even the name is pathetic. Reminds me of the 'Knights who say "Ni"'.

I wonder if JJA will actually put them in IX and if he does how will he explain where they've been? Were they just off on their hols while the rest of the galaxy was fighting to the death?

reply

Now can you understand why Disney Star Wars is so badly fucking written? Yes, totally including TFA.

The leader of a group of warriors is meant to be the best one of the lot, so he can train them and they can look up to him as their leader, but from what tantrums we've seen of Kylo, the Knights of Ren must be an extremely awkward and incompetent group. Makes the Keystone Kops look like a SWAT team.

reply

I legitimately can not wait for IX. No way in hell I'm going to give Disney Star Wars another penny but as a psychological experiment it's going to be fascinating.

The story is f*cked: even if you liked the sequels VIII left the story nowhere to go, Rey has already beaten Ren, The original cast are gone, Snoke is dead, the new characters are utter sh*te.

The odds of 'mystery box' Abrams being able to pull something out of his arse that actually works in approximately zero but will people be prepared to admit it? There's the old saying 'it's easier to fool someone than to convince someone they're been fooled'. The critics are now balls deep into the sequels so what are they going to do? Admit that IX is a piece of shit and it's a piece of shit because the movies they've been raving about for the past 3 years forced it to be shit? Not a chance in hell that's going to happen!

My prediction is that they will either double down and heap blind praise onto IX no matter what, or we'll see a subtle retconning of history, a 'well I always said the sequels were flawed and now we can see the results'. But at this point JJA could release a looping gif of him molesting sheep and he'd get at least 80% on RT.

reply

If Dismay want to say that Snoke wasn't a sith then I'm going to have to see why not and what he actually is in a backstory (oh wait, he's dead). Saying they're not Sith without evidence is like saying a four legged furry animal that meows is not a cat because the script says it's a dog.

''But at this point JJA could release a looping gif of him molesting sheep and he'd get at least 80% on RT.''

hahahaha!

reply

If he is not a Sith then how does he know how to use the force and wants to rule the galaxy. Kylo wants to be like Vader and wants to kill off the Jedi. It seems like it all points to Snoke and Kylo being a Sith to me.

reply

Well one answer is that the Jedi and the Sith are just two schools of thought that both used the force. There's nothing to say you have to be a jedi to use the lightside or that you have to be a sith to use the dark side.

This said, the actual answer is that it's all just b*llocks. Snoke is not just a bad character, he's not even a character, he was a placeholder written in by a hack and written out by a wannabe auteur. Star Wars is no longer a universe that has any kind of internal logic or consistent story telling set within it - it's just a bunch of crap made up at the last minute in order to give Disney as quick a ROI as possible.

reply

The whole trilogy will be a hack. So far nothing makes any sense and I fear Ep 9 will be full of stupid exposition and reteconns to explain the previous 2 movies. Or they may drag this turd into episodes 10, 11 and 12.

reply

Simply because they were referred to Knights of Ren - not Sith. Also the Sith use Darth as part of their name - not Ren as in Kylo Ren. What would've been interesting is the possibility that the Knights of Ren didn't limit themselves to only two like the Sith. Many Knights of Ren vs Luke and Rey.

Johnson the Hack didn't feel like creating an origin for Snoke or define who the Knights of Ren are so trying to make sense of this garbage trilogy is an exercise in futility.

reply

Disney killed the Sith, and the Force is female now. *eyeroll*

reply

I don't believe he was Sith, but since RJ didn't seem to care about Snoke or his story line we may never know what the difference truly was unless JJ can fix what RJ did in this film.

reply

If he is not a Sith then whats his motive to rule the galaxy? I guess its something JarJar and company didn't consider.
