which film stars would fit well in the SW universe?

Who'd be good in SW IX or a standalone? (as in you could just picture them in the SW universe like they already belong there

Bale. He said recently he was approached for Solo but turned it down (probably Woodys or Betannys role) but said he was a huge SW fan and would be open to stuff in the future (probably holding out for a more prominent role in IX or a standalone or the upcoming sequel trilogy) Could totally see Bale in SW as a Jedi or sith.. in fact he should really have been Anakin (and had him in all 3 films not Anakin as a 5 year old in Ep1)

Fassbender as a Jedi or Sith (could do either)

Cavill as a Sith (see JL when he goes bad)

Hardy - Jedi or sith

Cillian Murphy- Sith

Kenneth Branagh as an Obi Wan type jedi (he was rumoured as Obi Wan in the prequels before McGregor)

Jeff Bridges as a Jedi (see Tron Legacy) or a smuggler

Sean Bean - Jedi or Sith

Charles Dance - Sith

Kirsten Stewart (just think shed look cool wielding a lightsabre.. shed have been good as Rey)

Olga Kurylenko, Lea Seydoux- same reason

reply

Olga Kurylenko would make a HAWT Sith warrior... Think her Centurion character, only Sith.

Somehow don't think there'll be darkside females in Disney Star Wars anytime soon though...

reply

Olga Kurylenko is too hot for Star Wars... Maybe in a few years if she plays an older role...

Bale is too masculine... Would need to play a darkside person... Even moreso Sean Bean...

Hardy, if wearing mask the whole time, might work...

Kirsten Stewart would make a good pair with Rey... Maybe a future love interest... Excellent choice! 😂

What Star Wars really needs is some proper fatties... Brendan Gleeson, Wayne Knight (Newman from Seinfeld) and such would make excellent evil general types... Would be great hand to hand combat scenes with the Jedi women... Maybe even have a genuine twist and have one of the fat generals try to commit treason and go agaisnt the empire...

Come to think of it, younger, non-comedy fat actors would be good as well (can't think of any good ones maybe the kid from IT?)... Just put them into the story as any character... Humanise them... But only proper fat, not Rose fat...

Ep. IX - Revenge of the Fatties

Rebel Wilson in the Rebel Alliance for the Resistance of the definitely-not-the-Empire-even-though-they-have-identical-ships-and-uniforms First Order. She can be a commando team leader, single-handedly defeating dozens of definitely-not-Empire stormtroopers in hand-to-hand combat.

White men as heroes? Get back to 2005!

reply

Other than Kristen Stewart you have listed a far superior group of actors than we ended up with in the current trilogy.

It would have been cool to have seen the woman that played Elise in insidious playing a Jedi that survived order 66. I definitely would not see her fighting or anything but it would have been cool for Rey to encounter her in this trilogy.

Darlene Cates, the actress who portrayed Johnny Depp's extremely obese mother in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" as either rebel commander if she is willing to dye her hair purple, or Hutt.

Only problem is she died last year. But still.

I want to see Melissa McCarthy, Rebel Wilson and Lena Dunham forming an elite unit for the Resistance, taking out dozens of well-trained and athletic Stormtroopers for promoting unrealistic body ideals.

reply

Hahahaha, you get points for Lena Dunham, I saw her on an episode of American Horror Story and every time she spoke, I wanted to blow my brains out, so she would be perfect for these new films.

Christian Bale - Sith Has expressed interest in the franchise.

Dane Dehaan - Jedi I think he would look cool with a lightsaber.

Michel Pitt - Sith or Jedi He is just an amazing actor.

Charlie Tahan - He is young, but seems very talented.
