The truth about why people bashed George Lucas and the prequels.

It might be asked by some why would Star Wars "fans" hate the man who created something they professed to once love.

Well to answer that question you need to think, "What kind of people like the Star Wars movies?"

Nerds.

"And what are nerds?"

Socially awkward people obsessed with fantasy.

"And what are those people?"

Losers.

"And what do losers like to do?"

Losers like to tear down other people's lives and work to make the feel better about themselves for being failures.

Some of George Lucas's harshest critics were Confused Matthew and RedLetterMedia. What do these people have in common? They're fucking losers!

Confused Matthew is a notorious cynic who screams at movies like a bully since movies can't argue back. This is what that loser looks like in real life. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_IYDeF1x8w&t=11s

But by far Lucas's harshest critic was RedLetterMedia who would rip off his films in their entirety and bash every last inch of them. So right now lets do the same for them. I don't want you to say anything just look at these losers: http://i1.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/001/011/187/1ac.jpg You see how they look like children in adult form. These people never grew up. No where is this more plain to see than on The People Vs. George Lucas. It's a bunch of man-children complaining that Star Wars politics is too confusing for them. Because these losers never matured enough mentally to understand politics.

Another thing they complain about is the romance in episode 2. They say it lacks "chemistry". Or that it's "awkward" and the dialog is "cheesy". The only thing awkward is them. Hayden Christiansen is one handsome motherfucker so he can get away with lines about sand to a girl but the nerds who watch this are losers so they sure as hell can't.

But hey check this out. https://tinyurl.com/ydcjrufj That's George Lucas winning the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Film Institute. Ever notice how Confused Matthew never got one of these? Or how RedLetterMedia never got one of these? Even though they criticize Lucas as being lesser than them. You know why that is? BECAUSE THEY'RE A BUNCH OF FUCKING LOSERS THATS WHY! THEY DON'T BRING SHIT TO THE TABLE!

Seriously go fuck yourselves.

I wish these incredibly persuasive "losers" would go to work convincing the deplorables that Trump is a corrupt, traitorous, lying fool who is in endangering the future of the US and the world.

Really impressively articulated. Happy New Years! I see an alien doing an anal probe on you before the night is over.

reply

I think you’re taking all of this a bit too seriously....

reply

Almost as if he were... a nerd???

reply

More like a noid...

reply

Team Lucas here!

And if he sold of the franchise to get that sort of toxic fanboy out of his life, I don't blame him one bit.

Says the guy tearing down other people's lives, LOL!

I love how aggressive trollbabies are always hypocrites.

reply

Wow this thread is stupid. He or she is obviously one of those people on high school that picked on anyone that was not part of the crowd. Anyone that was quiet and did not fit in he or she probably made fun of.

reply

Either that or he got picked on, and now it's time to unleash payback on random people while hiding behind an anonymous name.

He's so brave! LOL

reply

"Either that or he got picked on, and now it's time to unleash payback"

Yeah so what's wrong with that? You don't think people should be held accountable for their actions? Think you can pick on people and not have them respond with anger? You think you and RLM and CM and every other hack film critic on YT for that matter can tear down Lucas and the prequels while us true fans who love the creator of our beloved series were just going to sit back and take it? Yeah you want no accountability that's it. You don't like it when I pull back the façade on the Lucas bashers and show them for the mean spirited insecure people they because of the implications it would make.

reply

"You don't think people should be held accountable for their actions?"

So who is being held accountable by this topic where you bash some reviewers on Youtube, where you pretend to be anti-bullying while being a bully and calling people losers for having an opinion you disagree with?

This is all quite amusing, I must admit. It's like watching someone implode.

"He or she is obviously one of those people on high school that picked on anyone that was not part of the crowd."

Other way around. One thing people don't really talk about is that bullies come in the form of people masquerading as your friends. A lot of sort called "friends" I had were actually juvenile delinquents with self esteem issues such as one who said he was the only accident to occur in billions of years of evolution. One was a "metal head" who was a Satanist because some born again Christians tried to shove their beliefs down his throat after he came to them after he was feeling guilty for possibly molesting a kid. They were constantly getting on my case.

Now compare that to the Lucas bashers:

1. They come masquerading as fans/friends.

2. They have deep seated mental problems.

3. They like to tear down other people's work/lives when they've never tried to do anything great.

Bullies also come in the form of people masquerading as anti-bullies, like this very topic where you bully and tear random people down.

reply

"Random people"?

Confused Matthew is not a random person. He's the guy that told Steven Spielberg, "Fuck you!" during his Minority Report review.

Red Letter Media is not random either. He has constantly bashed Lucas every chance he got.

reply

You're still taking this too seriously, Billy.

Let me give you a nickel's worth of free advice: Look in the mirror, breathe, and repeat after me:

"This is only a message board."

Except it only makes sense when I say it to you. You're the one having a conniption while posting about this series....

reply

No. People bash PT because between the action, it's just bland. I just didn't care for what happened to Anakin or Amidala. Another problem is the Titanic Problem. We all knew how it would end and. Titanic gave us a decent romantic drama with good actors doing a good job making us care about what happened. The PT didn't give us that.

RedLetterMedia videos use to have between 500,000 and 1,000,000 views. That's a damn high share. The guy must have done a nice bunch of money from that channel. But they're losers. Sure.

reply

"RedLetterMedia videos use to have between 500,000 and 1,000,000 views."

Yeah cause he leeched off of one of the most popular franchises of all time. Except he didn't do it to offer any profound analysis into the plot and themes but rather to nitpick and tear it down.

I call them FANNERDS...

Filmmakers should ignore the nerds and the fanboys... even the nerdy filmmakers...

Maybe Star Wars still thrives to this day because of geeks and nerds?

I have to admit I was a pretty big fan of the 2nd Star Wars movie, The Empire Strikes Back..but when I saw Return of the Jedi in 1983 I definitely had grown out of it by then. Plus I really didn't think ROTJ was nearly as good as the first two Star Wars movies.

Bottom Line: A lot of adults are still huge fans of Star Wars, they might be pining for their younger years. I'm just not one of them.

reply

it absolutely thrives on nerds and nerd culture, which is the mainstream culture at the moment...

I just think writers and directors shouldn't take filmmaking tips from them 😉
