Luke had lived? I'm on the fence...probably yes. Strictly for hope that episode nine would deliver the Luke many of us were really hoping to see in TLJ. Heroic...wise...and bad assed!!!
Although things like the lack of Snoke...wasted old characters and new...no Knights of Ren...maybe not...hard call...
NO, I had so many problems within the first act of the movie alone. Luke surviving would not have saved the movie for me.
shareNah, I thought the story itself was fine. Luke was gonna go in one of these movies, and most would expect it in 9 but going by the outline Lucasfilm was doing (Han is focus in 7, Luke is focus in 8, Leia was going to be the focus in 9) then it was actually predictable.
