Leia hitting Poe - thoughts?
Is she Harvey Weinstein?
shareHuh?
shareWhen Leia struck Poe Dameron for his wanting to complete the mission he'd been sent on which involved bombers and destroying a Dreadnought ship with them. Remember when he returned? She slapped him and demoted him.
For only trying to complete a mission which had been fully tailored for via prior planning.
A clear abuse of apparent authority.
Just like Harvey Weinstein and his controlling of careers via his vice fueled mechanics.
That's my thoughts at least.
I mostly feel bad for Oscar Isaac, because he spoke in the past about an intense physical scene between he and Fisher that had to be reshot several times. I assume he was referring to the slap being filmed over and over again. He even said Carrie Fisher was enjoying it. Poor guy.
shareApparently it was an open secret within the industry that Kathleen Kennedy hates men and berates them publicly and often.
Poor Isaac being beaten like that, sad.
Don't forget Rose's uninvited kiss on Finn. She sexually assaulted him. Maybe she's a Trump.
shareI for one was not ok with that! It's an act of violence no matter what. Leia is Poe's superior, which makes it far far worse. Imagine if Ackbar had hit Rose, what an outcry!
shareLOL that put the mental image of Ackbar just slapping her down in anger and I started cracking up! That's one thing we haven't seen in this saga: A mad Mon Calamari.
I also just thought, because of the shape of his fin-fingers, he'd have a hell of a backhand slap.
