Rey cannot be the sister of Kylo Ren

Whenever some force user has died in the previous movies, it was felt profoundly by their offspring. When Kylo killed Han, he and Leia also felt it. However, Rey didn't feel a thing. Come to think of it, I don't think she felt any deaths ever? So that would suggest she really is just a nobody with a strong force.

Force-sensitive people usually sense death. Obi-Wan sensed the deaths of the people on Alderaan, so it's common. Why Rey hasn't sensed anything is probably due to the writers not thinking about it.

Yes. Yet another thing they dropped the ball on. Although, she might be descended from or related to someone who died a while ago (I.e she could be a Kenobi or Palpatine)

reply

Well, they sense death even if someone died they are not related to. For instance, Leia isn't related to Han but she sensed his death. But the bonds are stronger when they're related such as when Luke and Leia have communicated via Force or when they felt each others' presence.
