Rey Skywalker
Accept it what was with people thinking she might be a Solo they sure didn't ever act like they had a daughter.

shareShe a bad-ass
shareA daughter they perhaps thought... didn’t make it? Nevermind.
Whether she’s a Skywalker or someone else, Rey is awesome.
My money's on Rey Skywalker, not Rey Solo-Organa.
Which would be kind of a cliché, but Star Wars has always embraced sci-fi cliché's, used them so well they became new and exciting. It would be great if the Disney New Order managed to pull that off.
Seeing as how she is the lead character of TFA, and that 'Episodes' are always about the Skywalker family--yes, she will be a Skywalker.
shareSurprised no one has mentioned the main story to Battlefront 2 yet. The game possibly gives away who Rey's parents are. If the game is giving it away, Rey IS NOT a Skywalker. She is the daughter of two characters we have NEVER seen before except for the game. And the game is supposed to be canon. It fills in the gap between Return Of The Jedi and The Force Awakens. But the game isn't clear on stuff. It's left to interpretation. But I've seen plenty of videos piecing together that Rey is the two characters' daughter, and I'm still waiting for a video to come to debunk this theory. I originally wanted Rey to be Luke's daughter, but there is enough evidence and clues to point that the two characters in Battlefront 2 are Rey's parents. Oh, and Luke knows Rey's parents. So Luke and Rey have some kind of connection/history and that kind of explains how Luke is able to recognize her (at least it looked like he recognized her). And the lead female character in Battlefront 2 looks a lot like Rey too.
shareI will bet you ten bucks that in the movies, she turns out to be Like's daughter and not the characters from the game.
Simply because Disney is trying to get everyone on planet Earth to buy a ticket, not just the gamers, and they need to make the story uncomplicated enough for regular non-fans to understand and love. Hell, they need to make it uncomplicated that when the nomads of outer Mongolia make their annual visit to a town with a movie theater or a DVR, THEY understand and love the story. And bringing in characters from a video game and explaining who they are doesn't quite fit that bill, it'd require building whole character arcs in flashback.
It'll be cool if she ends up being Luke's daughter. That's what I've wanted since I saw The Force Awakens the first time. But I'm just pointing out what the game is hinting at. Not sure how they are going to explain it in the movie if the game theory is correct. Maybe with Luke knowing her parents, he'll tell her during some "story time" scene. EA and Disney could've worked on something together. Disney could've came up with who her parents are and then EA had a game developer make the story for the game's single player focus on her parents. Disney could explain the whole events in the game through dialogue, mainly Luke's dialogue.
