She gave me an early 90s Meg Ryan vibe. Anyone else?
This film was quirky, engaging, thought-provoking and downright gross but I loved it!! Did anyone else get a Meg Ryan vibe from the lead actress? sort of a cutesy girl-next-door type. Anyway, once you get past the grossness the film grows on you and pulls you in. I loved the editing and camera angles too.
The film had heart too. Showing her struggles with her upbringing, trying to get her parents back together etc. The ending was just perfect IMO.
