2 reasons Lena could be rotting

I've read a few of the posts, some debates wondering if she's actually dead, or has been dead the whole time, or switched places, and while I think they're all some pretty good theories what about the twin theory? You know, that whole "What happens to one twin can be felt by the other" thing?

So Lena was thrown by her father and normally she would have healed, but because her link, her twin, is now back and rotting away then that could be why her wound is rotting and not healing. It could be as simple as that.

My second theory is coincidence. What if when (mind you I haven't seen this in about 6mo -1yr, so correct me if I am wrong!) Lena's father threw her, she died but no one noticed because when she came back so did everyone else? I don't remember if he had hit her in the past or if it was something really recent. If it was in the past, then nvm!

"Everything could've been anything else, and it would have just as much meaning."

I feel like it might be the twin theory thing. I've just finished binge watching this series, and all through out we're shown how Lena and Camille have this 'connection,' like when Camilles in the bus and knows Lenas losing her virginty, or when Lena wakes up in bed clutching her arm because Frederick had touched Camille. I think they must have showed all these little things because that's the only reason why her back could be rotting?? What I find weird is that out of all the dead people, Lenas rotting scar is bigger and looks worse than everybody's else's even though she's not even dead. And hers started before everyone's else's too. I dunno it's weird. I can't wait for season 2!!!

I've always thought from the beginning that it was the twin connection
