If they had at least shown a little creativity and tried to do something differently it might have been worthwhile. But instead they just transposed everything from the French series to the Pacific Northwest, and they even tried to make all the locations look the same, and what's even sadder, they cast actors who all resembled the actors from the French series.
It was pathetic; it deserved cancellation.

Maybe if the American version of the Returned started eating people maybe it might have had a chance.
