- So with season one finale, Lucy came to the 'Helping Hand' and took all the revenants with her ((but she didn't take Serge and Toni?)). In season 2, Camille and her mom are locking themselves in a house and not with Lucy and the other revenants. So does that mean that Camille and her mother escaped? but yet they can't go back to the city and reconnect with Jerome and others? and who are those nontalking people???
- Where is Adele's husband?
I watched up to episode 2x05, so no spoilers please.
It seems that they don't actually need ALL, they just need many since together they are stronger (notice how they don't rot, but recover when they are all together). And it also seems that they need some more than others (Victor seems to be more powerful than others, Lucy seems to need the baby for something - although we don't really know if she is telling the truth about the reason).
It's not Camille who's cautious, only her mom. I think she's going a bit cray cray after all the things she has witnessed, and is maybe a bit delusional.
we should treat les revenants as a type of society. And in this society there are groups. They explained in previous episodes why some of them are "silent", but episode 6 will explain this even more in a very good and sad scene.
Lucy is basically a leader who knows who should and who shouldn't stay with them. She trusts Simon, so he can visit the town regularly, same with Virgil. Serge is a little bit here a little bit there. But she knows that he can handle himself. At this point it's pretty clear there was never "all of you have to go with me", it was more (like pardik wrote) "come with me, together we will be safe". And, you gotta admit, even though her intentions are not 100% clear, Lucy was not wrong.

Thanks for elaborating! Still unclear about Camille and her mom, if they were unwanted by the revenents why are they locking themselves and feeling frightened and untrusting all the time? Because thier situation feels like they escaped from Lucy
oh, sorry,I didn't tell you this because ep 6 really explains a lot. It's a very eye-opening episode regarding Claire and her emotional state. Those silent folks look scary but are they really scary? Or is it just Claire's imagination?
I'm not saying that at some point Lucy won't take more serious actions to keep all les revenants with her, especially that they are not safe in town (psycho Pierre!), but right now everything suggests that if you REALLY wanted to leave or escape...you could.
I loved what they did and what they revealed about Claire in ep 6. I thought that, from psychological point of view, it was very believable and "human" development for this particular character.
I just watched episode 6.. Loved that Claire bit. However, things like shooting Madame Costa and then committing suicide irritates me; very unnecessary.
But wait, what was the good/sad scene that explains why the silent people are like that? the only thing we knew is that, they are violent from the perspective of Claire. But why are they silent and who are they? this -as far as I know- we don't know yet.
right, sorry, my mistake, it was in ep 5. I'm talking about Esteban. He realised he is alone and doesn't have anyone (his parents didn't come back, they committed suicide), he doesn't have purpose so to speak. Virgil explained this in ep 3. Camille asked him directly - why the others are not like us? And he said, "because no one was waiting for them". He even says: "No one wanted them to come back."
It might be a blurry explanation but honestly, you don't need anything else. You don't need more direct answer. It ruins the mystery ;)
We already know enough. In this regard Esteban transition from "civilized" to "silent" makes sense. He finds out his parents are dead...he's losing his "destination".
Woooha, powerful *beep* I missed that out because as you said, it wasn't direct. Thanks for explaining. And sorry it took you couple of replays to do so -_- Thanks again.
Man, I must've got some turrble subtitles 'cause I have no idea what you guys are talking about. Anyone have a decent source for accurate subs? I basically watch this show because it makes The Leftovers feel like just a solid drama. Kinda like jumping in a cold pool (Les Rev) right before you get in the hot-tub (Leftovers). That oh-so-good warm sting you get :)
Also, anyone know if S02 is only 08 episodes? Thanx
