Lena's scarred back
Was the scar and ugly discoloration our clue that she was a Returned? Was she decaying too when healed by the pultice of the born-again tunnel murderer (can't recall his name)?

Hi there,
I was hoping this would be addressed in the 2nd series. It was referred to when the army/authorities asked about Lenas medical records, as they showed her father brought her to the hospital (and my understanding was he was held suspect). Going back to the beginning of series 1, it shows Lena staying home from the field trip to be with Fredrick (I think). As they start kissing, and start getting hot and heavy, it cuts to Camille breathing faster, turning red, then bolting for the bus door, aND then the crash. I just took that as the twins connecting mentally/physically. When I 1st saw Lenas scar /wound several years ago, I thought that maybe she got the scar from a possible suicIde attempt, as the father was adamant that he did not cause it, but never did tell his wife what really happened. After watching both series this week, I think that when the bus crashed, Lena received the wound (just a s Camille was able to feel w h at her sister was experiencing with Fredrick). Maybe the reason the scar became a wound again, dealt with the opening of the wound of coping with what happened to her twin, maybe feelings of guilt, or just experiencing the past or even future decay of Camilles body should she stay in the world of the living (remember how she had facial signs of decay later @ Helping Hands). I imagine there are better theories out there. I do wish I understood French as I wonder if the subtitles covered everything...I still have questions.
Take care ☺
I thought it was because she and Camille are twins.
