So I'm watching on Sundance and it looks like it's revealed lucy died 35 years ago by Milan. She then returned at some point before Claire and the others came back and resumed her life?
Does that not undermine the meaning of the Returned and the premise of the show?
Not sure what you may think the premise is. It's supposed to be about salvation & retribution. Is it because Lucy came back before everyone else? I think maybe watch the rest of the episodes, & you'll see the answer. I don't want to give anything away.
shareI think you need to see all the episodes before trying to work out the premise. It's kept me guessing to the end - who should be trusted, who shouldn't, & obviously what caused all this to happen & why?
But Lucy isn't the first person to come back, I believe. Or at that point she is alive but also psychic like Victor.
I've just finished the seried and honestly I'm still baffled! For every question that is answered you're left with about 10 more. Given we know that those who are already dead will come back if they are killed again, we have no idea how old Lucy or Victor really are, who they are, or why they seem to be so different to the others. Waiting eagerly for series 3 already, I just hope it doesn't take another 2 years!
