Middle aged, whiney gumpy douche comedians or if they're younger they're Tosh-like with the smug and smarter than everybody in the room attitude.
When there's no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth.
I hate the younger comedians like Tosh that come across as know-it-alls and act smug as all hell. I find it hard to get into their routine.
The middle age my-life-sucks-and-kids-are-idiots comedians I really like though. I guess I can relate to them.
Cynical comedians that "rail against the machine" and at the same time are apart of it is whats in now.
In a way I guess you could say its popular because people are more cynical today
